ApplicationDuring the time period that Exodus and Leviticus was written, it seems like there were many separations. They had separations between all the “clans of people”, the days of week and years, the different festivals, the different offerings, etc. Things were done in a very ritualistic way. The Israelites had people occasionally from different lands come and live with them. Regardless of being native-born or foreigner, the laws that God was giving Moses was for everyone.
If we are not careful, we can start to treat others differently if they are not like us. It is so easy to judge someone and think we know exactly what their situation is.
